Leica

Leica Lenses

Leica has been crafting some of the finest optics in the world since 1913. There's a reason cinematographers and photographers all over the world talk about "Leica magic." You just can't go back to others after using a Leica.

We choose Leica because these lenses occupy a beautiful color space, render amazing micro-contrast and create buttery cinematic bokeh. FlowCS has a full range of modern and vintage Leica lenses, from stunningly wide 15mm to "yes-I-know-it-looks-like-a-bazooka" 400mm.

Technicolor_logo-1

Technicolor

Technicolor has been pioneering color science in cinema since 1916. Movies that use their technology range from Wizard of Oz (1939) to Inception (2010) and Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011). Since the transition to digital cinema beginning in 2008, the company has been at the forefront of advancing the science and art of color.

In April 2011, Technicolor teamed up with Canon engineering as well as ASC Directors of Photography to produce what might be the best "picture style" or curve to use with the Canon 5D MKII and associate models. FlowCS had adopted the Technicolor Cine-style as it gives the widest luma gamut and the most flexibility in post.

1 Person + 1 Yuan + 1 Month = 1 Big Family

FlowCS has been asked to help them relaunch their brand and cinematic identity.

HISTORY - While Jet Li was vacationing in the Maldives on December 26, 2004 with his family, the Great Southeast Asian Tsunami of 2004 struck. His youngest daughter was swept away by the water, but was saved at the last minute by locals. Understanding that in life there are countless times when help is given by others, he was inspired by this incident to create and set-up the Jet Li One Foundation as his way of giving back. The foundation officially began on April 19, 2007. Jet Li ceased film production for the entire year of 2008, devoting all of his time to developing and growing the foundation.
